Hi, I’m Sam and Rook Haus is the home to all of my creative projects.

My illustrations aim to bring joy and whimsy to any project. Call them rose-colored glasses if you must, but my art portrays the vibrant way I see the world. I am vehemently anti generative AI and believe humans need human art. I believe humans are beautiful because of the diversity in both our experiences and our appearances, and my work always aims to celebrate both what sets us apart and what ties us together. I have worked as an artist, illustrator, and brand designer for the past decade. This includes six internationally published tarot decks, all that explore different facets of the human experience and all with wildly different perspectives. My work also includes a variety of print and digital publication features.
